In this last year I have had personal and health struggles as well as cut backs to resources in the district. I found this course to be an excellent reminder of healthy habits to fall upon. The course helped me to reset me as well as provide helpful resources to my habits. The best part of this course is I would read what the next mindful habit would be, make a plan to incorporate it into my next. However if I had an overwhelming week and didn’t feel I was able to fully commit to the habit I could try again the following week as it was a self paced class. I have been advocating for other teachers in my school to take this course especially when they share they are feeling overwhelmed and things are chaotic. As I told them, “This won’t be another thing on your plate to do rather a way to help bring more order to your life with healthy, mindful habits”.
